TGIF!!

Wow, what a week this has been...... I was on vacation last week, and this week back at work was CRAZY!
But what a better way to start the weekend than with our weekly Friday hops!

This one hosted by Rachel @ Parajunkee's View.  This week the question is:

Q. Just like Ashley said (love it) "Ashley the girl..." who are You the Boy/Girl, instead of You the Blogger?

I'm Kat.... I'm the mom of two boys that are 21 and 19... yes, they are older than some of the bloggers that I follow :)  I have been a nurse for 18 years this year, and I am also in graduate school working on my doctorate.

Book Blogger Hop

Our other weekly hop is hosted by Jennifer @ Crazy-forBooks
The question there this week is:

"If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?"

Hmmmmmmmmm..... let's see.....

Nice choices! I've added 'Pink Boots and a Machete' to my TBR pile. Even though I wrote the question I still had to go trawling through my Amazon wishlist to answer it! :-)

Yea Kat! Just dropping by - old follower. So glad to "meet" someone more my generation -- my kids are (almost)21 and 23 -- and I follow lots of bloggers who are around those ages.

Happy Reading!

Hi Kat! Nice to know you. :) You've been on vacation, where too? I hope you enjoyed it a lot. :)

Happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi Kat,
It is so nice to meet a blogger with kids the same age as mine! I am hopping through and loved that our sons are the same age. Love your book choices as well. I am your newest follower and I grabbed your button and added you to my blog roll.
Come on over and check mine out too!

Wow! What a great question this week. I always peek at other people's book piles at the checkout link at B&N. That doesn't make me a voyeur, does it?

The exhibitionist in me has posted my own bookstore shopping list -- and it's not as predictable as you may think!

Hop on over to my blog for all the suspense and chills of my TBR list - http://www.howardsherman.net

Happy Hop Friday!

Thanks for finding me on GoodReads! Your blog is great... I love Phantom of the Opera and have been known to belt out the soundtrack a time or two (or a thousand) when no one is around to hear!

I'll even forgive you for the War Eagle ;)

Great list. I also noticed that you're reading Memoirs of a Geisha, which I thought was a good book (better than the movie!).

I love the heading on your blog- Phantom of the Opera is my favorite broadway show!
